How It Works | Hand-Drawn Portraits From Your Photo

Every portrait we make is drawn by hand by one of our own artists in our UK studio. Nothing is generated by AI, run through a filter, or produced by an app. Here is exactly what happens between your order and the parcel arriving.

1. Choose your product

Pick the style, size and finish on the product page. Every portrait is available as a print, a gallery canvas, or framed and ready to hang. Prices start at £17.95.

2. Upload your photo

Upload the photo you would like us to work from and add any names, dates or wording. If you are unsure whether a photo will work, our photo guide explains what makes a good one, and you can always ask us to check before you order.

3. An artist draws it by hand

Your photo goes to one of our artists, who draws the portrait by hand on a graphics tablet. A real person makes every decision about the fur, the light and the expression. This is why our portraits look like your pet rather than like a filter applied to a photo.

4. See a preview if you want one

Add Preview requested to the Special Requests box and we will email the finished artwork before we print anything. Reply and tell us what you would like changed, and your artist will adjust it. There is no limit on reasonable changes and no extra charge.

5. We print, check and send it

We print in house on our own equipment, so nothing is outsourced. Every order is checked by hand before it is packed. Prints are produced on 260gsm paper, canvases are stretched by hand, and framed pieces are assembled here.

Standard UK delivery takes 4-6 working days, Express 2-4, and Next Day 1-2. Free standard delivery on orders over £30. Full detail is on our delivery page.

If something is not right

Tell us. If a preview is not working, we will keep adjusting it, and if we still cannot get it right we will refund you. If the finished item arrives damaged or not as agreed, we will replace it or refund you.
